Does anyone have a nursing CVC consent they are willing to share? Starting to place CVCs and art lines next month, very exciting yet very scary! Thanks
Check the Resources section of this website. Most of these consents are for PICCs but could easily be adapted for other VADs. Look at the bottom of the list to find these examples. I know the one I posted contains the basic components of a consent but would need to be amended for other types of VADs or it could be made comprehensive for one document for all VADs. Lynn
Thanks Lynn, I did look at the consents that are posted here. As more nurses move to placing CVCs I was hoping someone would have one for CVCs placed by RNs. Thanks again for your insight and help, I like your PICC consent.
