CRNI Exam

I am scheduled to take the exam in three days. I have studied since April. I have purchased every book and DVD sold by INS. I still do not feel ready. I do not seem to be able to retain all the detailed information for all 8 areas. Has anyone taken the test this past March any suggestions to help these next few days?

I hope it went well for you.

I hope it went well for you.  I studied for almost a year before I felt comfortable with the test.  I read all of the INS books and Plumers Principles and Practice of Infusion  Therapy a couple of times and watched the study DVDs.

Yes, you are correct. I am

Yes, you are correct. I am amazed at the knowledge I have learned after studying for over three months. I recommend anyone in the profession to do the same. I know that this might sound self centered but I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF.

CRNI Exam

I took this exam and passed it first time. It was the challenge of my nursing career to date...I think the INS texts, and Standards, plus review manuals were the very best preparation. I studied for months and around the clock for weeks on areas of my least confident areas of pediatrics, and oncology. I thank God for the time I spent in preparation. Once you pass it, you will never forget it.

Goodluck, and know you can do this...I sat and took quiet meditative deep breaths a lot, and let the answers rise to the top...Looking at it now, having survived it, I think it was like that crazy eight ball with the answers floating to the top and then disappearing only to rise and reappear once again. It was like that experience...you have the inner knowledge, you have worked hard, the answers will come...breathe...You've got this...Just do it!
