I a bit new to Vascular Access and want to get the certification. I will be going through Vascular Access Certification Corp, via AVA. Would like to know what is he best resource to study from? Open to any suggestions for preparing.

Good resource is AVA study guide for Vascular Access Certification. You can find it on the AVA web site.

Good luck with your studying for the VA-BC, and I applaude your efforts to get a national certification in your specialty!
The VACC has a study guide that will give you a good overview of the topics covered and a huge list of additional references. Use the study guide to determine places you are not as comfortable with the material, identify areas you need more information or a higher comfort level with, and then use the listed resources for deeper study in those areas. It was designed to be a test of the knowledge of what you do every day, so most things should be familiar.
The test is based on published guidelines and position statements, so you should be familar with those.
AVA offers a review course as a preconference every year, and it is designed to be guided by the test outline, many have found it very beneficial. If you are takeing the test before the next AVA Conference, you may be able to find an independent company offereing a review course in your area. I would suggest a Google Search.
Another good idea is to get a study group together. Reach out to your local AVA Network to see if anyone else is taking the test and perhaps a current VA-BC or two could guide the group study.
Good Luck!
