Hi everyone,
I have heard time and time again at AVA and INS that the recommendation is to have "at least 50% of the catheter reside in the vessel" as a means to lower the potential for complications. Yet, I cannot find this in peer reviewed literature. Can someone help me find this in literature so I can support my recommendations? Thank you all in advance for any help!
Best,
Sheree
I do not think this research has actually been published yet. These presenters were talking about their research and experience. It can not become a formal published standard or guideline until that research has been published in a peer reviewed journal. Lynn
