Photo policy

Does anyone have a specific policy related to taking photos of patients they could share?  I want to create educational videos/pictures of PICC dressing changes, implanted port access, etc.  I have approached our legal department because it is not in our general acute care hospital consent for treatment.  I was asked by them for a policy that others in "our field" use.

I am also interested in this information. There are several new statements about photos in the Informed Consent standard coming in a few weeks, but would like to see a p & p for this. Thanks Lynn

It is included in our informed consent that photograhs and or video can be used for educational purposes. This was passed through our legal department specifically for our PICC consent but is in all of our hospitals consents.
