P.A.S. port power injectable port

Any issues/concerns with this manufacturer's product?  We've been asked to "listen" a presentation.  My guess is it's about $$ as we have had no problems with the implanted ports we currently use.

P.A.S. port

This is an arm port system.  It is smaller than a chest port and uses a 1/2 inch needle length with preferably a smaller gauge (22 g max).  This makes it more difficult to access for the nurse who doesn't have much experience.  Also, the location of the port will make a difference.  In one place in California where I worked, the port reservoir was placed just below the antecubital fossa on a flat part of the arm.  In Colorado, the IR docs place them on medial upper arm.  When accessed, this location can put pressure on sensitive structures below.  Also, patients have to kind of torque their arm to provide access.
