Hi all, I travel to various places to place lines and carry supplies in my car. I experience all 4 season of the year. I have been searching for information at the Bard site without success and other places as to whether midlines and picc catheters are affected by extreme temperatures. Does anyone know? And if so, what degree would they be affected by? thanks.
Get on to the technical officer at BARD via Email ([email protected]) who will advise about temperature and stability of the compunds in the devices.....you will find storing the products in an insulated box ('Esky' in Oz) the boot (trunk) will be the best place.

Manufactures have to submit testing to the FDA for temperatures min and max for storage of their products. Most print max and min temperatures on their package itself, or on the instructions for use included with each package or case.
A call to the customer service department of the manufacturer will also provide the information, or an inquiry via email to customer service on the manufacturer's website.
