I've tried searching on the web but unsuccessful at locating an answer to what may seem like a dumb question. On the newer dial-a-flows I am seeing 2 columns of numbers. Of course the numbers in the right column pertain to the rate, but does anyone know what the numbers in the blue column to the left pertain to? I've looked all over the package, went to ICUmedical and more and nothing.
Thanks,
Donna
I am a little confused. Dial-a-flo is a trade name for a mechanical flow regulator but I did not think it was made by ICU Medical. I have always associated that produce with Hospira. Can you be more specific about the product name you are asking about? Lynn
PS definitely not a dumb question!

Each time a product is sold to a hospital, the manufacturer has to provide education on the product to the staff. To find your answer, look on the Instructions for use of the product first, it is either on the package or inside the case of the product, you may have to ask your boss or purchasing for the IFU if they are inside the case. If you can't locate your answer there, ask your boss, or your purchasing department to give you the information to contact your local rep for the product, so they can answer your question. Sales reps are wealth of knowledge about thier products and would love to help enlightnen you and your coworkers about the features of thier product.
Never be afraid to ask.

The flow controller you are referring to is the EasyDrop with a double scale from GVS used in the ICU Medical set. The scales are 10% and 40%. The lower one is for less viscous solution, the higher one for viscous solutions. Please contact your local rep for more specific information. Specification sheets are available. You can locate them on www.icumed.com.
