Has anyone accounted a patient who has a PICC and a tunneled catheter?

 There are many patients who

 There are many patients who have multiple CVADs at the same time. This is compounding the risk of DVT but the types of therapy may indicate the need for both. I would assess which was placed first? Why was the second one placed? What types and numbers of therapy are now required? How has this changed? If the therapy can be safetly delivered with only one CVAD, then that is all that should be placed. It just depends on what is needed. Lynn
