PIV. 24g vs 22g

For chemo infusions using a PIV. Is it best to use a 24g or a 22g. Especially if the only access is in the AC?

Smaller is always better, in my opinion. Also I would never settle for using the ACF, hand or wrist especially for chemo as that is where the greatest number of ocmplications occurs. These sites should always be avoided especially for vesicant medications. use of ultrasound and infrared light devices now means there is no reason why veins of the forearm can not be found and used.
