Using it and loving it. It is easy to place, I am not having occlusions but using mostly single lumen for cancer patients. I have only used a few double lumens and had minimal problems with one or the other lumen kinking off but upon pt movement or position change opened right back up. I initially thought it was occluding until it happened multiple times on the same 2 patients. I highly recommend this PICC.
when I see posts that the poster is not willing to put their name down or disclosure makes me wonder why
does the poster not want their identity known and why
I am beginning to wonder. I think it is great to share information on trials, products, results, and outcomes. Please let us know who you are so you can have some credibility regarding your experience. I personally am not afraid to put my real name down on my posts. I think that is important. You do not need to disclose where you work as that can be tricky and cause issues with your job but how about a full name and maybe some credentials.

Kathy,
If you are referring to my post I can assure you not posting my name etc was not an intentional attempt to misguide anyone. I am a PICC nurse who is lucky enough to have the support of my director in regards to choosing products that I feel are in the best interest of my patients. After a trial of several PICC's I chose the BioFlo due to its performance.
I am proud to post my name!

Hello BJ, Do you have any data on how much your t-PA use was reduced as well as any CLABSI data? If so do you mind emailing it to me?
Thanks
