Since January 1st, we have not been able to receive the Pall 0.2 micron filter (ELD96NY) on a regular basis. We have rec'd a substitute (ELD96NT) from pall; however, we have found this product to have a high incidence of disconnect with continuous infusions. What other companies can provide us with a like product. We have chosen to suspend using the Pall substitute filter until we find another company. Please note: We have saved back some product for TPN infusions but this supply will run out eventually. Looking forward to your response.
All manufactueres of infusion sets make 0,22 micron filters. This includes Baxter, Hospira, and B Braun. They can be bought as add on devices or integral with the IV set. I am not certain about the differences in the features of the 2 product numbers from Pall nor the differences in features between the Pall and others. But there are numerous sources of 0.22 micron filters. Lynn
