Refs for management of CVAD infections and thromboses?

Hi list friends!

I would really appreciate your help in locating good references and guide lines showing management of local and systemic infections and of thromboses of central venous access devices.

When to treat how?

When can different types of lines be kept and when must/should they be pulled/explanted?

Great thanks in advance

The 2011 INS Standards of

The 2011 INS Standards of Practices now contains a standard on infection and thrombosis with a very comprehensive list of references. That is where you can start and then do any literature searches for the year of 2010 to present to get the most recent. Lynn
