Lokking for a source for the following: the incidence of infection is slightly lower For PICCs placed in right arm v left. I thought I remembered this but can't find a source for it. Can anyone supply this information?
I have never seen a study showing that the infection rate is lower on one side vss the other, however tip location and other complication are different between sides of insertion for PICCs. Lynn
