What size of the Chloraprep are you using? Look at the package and product information to learn the amount of skin surface area covered by that amount. Is this sufficient to cover the area needed for proper skin antisepsis? If one is enough then you do not need two, Lynn
Always start with clean skin (CDC and INS statements) and that could mean a soap and water wash if sweaty or dirty. Then apply the alcoholic chlorhexidine using a back and forth scrubbing motion with a sufficient quantity to cover the appropriate amount of skin surface. Then let it dry naturally. Lynn
