Does anyone have any experience good or bad with the SOLO PICC 2? Those that use the solo picc 2 do you do CVP monitoring? Appreciate any help with these questions. Thanks in advance for your help. Jackie Tropp
We use only Bard products at my institution and have great success with them. And we're a childrens hospital! The PICU does utilize the CVP monitoring component. We mainly use the 4F single and 5F double(triple every once in a while on a big kid) and have no issues. We use them with a tip navigation system. We also get custom kits since we needed a different size introducer in the 4F kit. No complaints really!
I mean no disrespct but that particular PICC is the brand I have had the most issues with. My cathflo use went to like 2 doses per year compaired to 60+ doses for the Bards. Just stating my experience and again no disrespect to Bard.
